About Me

Marjan Eggermont
Calgary, Alberta, Canada
I'm a Senior Instructor at the Schulich School of Engineering. This blog was created to give frequent updates on a 7-week affordable housing project in response to Calgary's 10-year Plan to End Homelessness (March 2 - April 17). SixEightFour refers to the six-hundred and eighty-four individuals who are working on the project. This group consists of roughly 650 first year students, TA's, instructors and a technician. The students will create 24 affordable housing prototypes - one per group of about 28 students that will be structurally sound, sustainable, cost-effective, aesthetically pleasing, functional, meets the clients needs and has community input. This blog has been created to show their process, progress and their work.
